Very well-received new Prog on the classical/ambient side - "The Water is Wide Variations" by Al Fleeman (me!). A 'made-for-cd' instrumental album, pieces are interlinked for an immersive experience (and there's a 12-page booklet with imagery/info to complement each track).
Available in dollars from http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/alfleeman or in pounds from http://alfleeman.com

Some very 'Yes' like symphonic prog. Only that it is nearly as if not better than Yes' masterpeices: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/vailrealm

well, we have a CDBaby page. We've been on the Gagliarchives top 20 list for a the past three months or so and have had very positive reviews on most of the major prog sites. Just not listed here yet.

Where is a breakdown of which artist plays on which track? Interesting music for those who like eclectic.

Checkout this young band – heavy prog with little romantic accent. Awesome music. Virtuel – you can find here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/virtuelEdited by papa123 - June 12 2012 at 08:32 |

OOH! What a great thread this is - i've certainly found a few great bands here. You may enjoy the prog band i play in - we are called Kettlespider. We have recently been added to the Progarchives website and are excited about the global release of our independent debut album 'Avadante'. Here is the CDBaby link: |

Hi! We are a new prog band from Quebec City, Canada. Our first album, Scene I : Harlequin, which is a 60 minute concept album, was just released on May 22nd.
CD Baby : Website (free streaming, digital copy purchase, physical copy purchase) :
www.piezotheband.com Facebook : www.facebook.com/piezotheband We have been recently added on PA but we currently have no reviews and no ratings so we would REALLY appreciate it if you people checked us out and took the time to write a review so we can get feedback from real prog fans! Thanks alot and I hope you enjoy it!! |
