That's the only Area album (from the original band) that I don't own. Maledetti was my least favourite and I guess I was expecting a similar one, though with a band like Area that's probably a bad asumption to make. 


LOL You'd be right.
It's a very far cry from Maledetti, which ranks as one of my most beloved Area releases. Maledetti is however not for the squeamish. 
This one is highly recommended and is probably the best way of approaching the band methinks. Lots of quirky melodies on it.
 
Quirky melodies you say, well I'll have to get it now, for completion sake at least.

One of my top ten albums and the videos of the albums songs are fantastic.

What a wonderful album! The entire album is on YouTube, posted by the same user.

This is an excellent example of fusing classical, rock, and folk. Really excellent!

If you're interested, the CD is available in one of the Progressive Italia boxes, I forget which.

^ David, if you're referring to the one I posted, the album is Maurizio Fabrizio's Movimenti nel Cielo from 1978. Really beautiful, wonderful stuff. Not crazy, but definitely a treat.

^ Well, I'm kind of partial to the crazy side of RPI, too (and music overall, for that matter). But I do like the silky stuff too--it's good to mix it up a bit! I just didn't want to mislead you into thinking we're talking about some kind of UZ chamber rock or something like that.

Anywho it may be time for a trip down memory lane, and perhaps for some more beautiful and luscious RPI. I think I am going for Delirium's lll after Roller. I love that album.

Allright. I am actually very much the same. If I want the silky stuff these days, I will probably grab a Tangerine Dream album, although tonight I might opt for the Delirium one I spoke about before - maybe that beautiful ethereal Celeste.

It is 'special' - I'll give you that.
I think the main ingredient that first draw me in with Gudrun were those electronics. It mostly feels like an electronic album actually - even when it is covering the classic Elvis tune I can't help falling in love with you

It's a fascinating change of direction from the debut. A bit pedestrian some might say, but there are some heart-achingly beautiful melodies on that one.

I only own Gudrun, but I am definitely planning on getting the debut some day.
