Six Degrees of Inner Tubulance is amazing. But really, its split into a bunch of other songs. If you want eventually, you should check out the bands that make one song for the whole album, but split it into parts. Really, you're listening to one song its just on seperate tracks.
Also, Delerium Cordila or something (spelling bad) by Fantomas has an hour and ten minute song that's representative of being operated on without anesthesizia
Damn it my spelling is awful

I haven't made any sense out of Delirium Cordia yet, if that's what you're asking. The whole thing is either too quiet or too scary for me to listen to.

Wow, there's so much music to explore. How do you guys find the time to listen to all of this music?

My favorite epic track is "Passion Play" by Jethro Tull. 42 minutes or so.

That's a great setup line, but I'll let someone else take it.

"longest" prog rock song is a silly idea simply because there are some that kinda just drone on and on and aren't that great. I think there's some weirdo 4 hour dealio by some dude. I don't really even want to sit down to listen to it. Haha

I understand not all of the epics can be great, but all the ones Ive heard so far are absolutely amazing. I know the Flower Kings epics were, well, really epic. And Yes', Mars Volta's, and Dream Theater's epics are pretty crazy too.
I'm not into badly composed epics. What's the longest, well written epic?

So I finally have a car but I won't be able to drive it until I get my driver's license in ~1.5, 2 months. Meanwhile all I can do is sit at the driver's seat while listening to Henry Cow and make engine noises with my mouth.
