THERE ARE BEARS. I'M GODDAMN TERRIFIED OF BEARS.
Rightfully so. You see a bear and you're dead probz.
It depends on where you go.
not many bears in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada nor California (exept maybe in the mountains and woods), but more proabable to encounter rattlesnakes and black widows

you're still alive?
Yes. I lived to tell about it. Once was in the Michigan Upper Peninsula and once was in North Carolina. The time in Michigan we were camping and I saw it in the woods from afar. The time in North Carolina we were taking a car tour of the Blue Ridge Mountains and had stopped at a scenic lookout spot and there were a couple of bear cubs on the side of the hill. Didn't see mama bear.
I remember seeing a very scary movie involving Grizzly bears when I was a kid, and have been scared of bears ever since.

Bears look so cuddly and slow, but they're actually pretty fast and want to eat you. I think if I saw a bear, my first impulse would be to want to go try and make friends with him. I know what it's like to be tall and hairy.

I'm a lot more afraid of creepy crawly things. Bears are ok. I think I'd even be glad to be eaten by a bear. Better than getting bitten by a snake or a toad

I don't like creepy crawly things either. The horror movies involving animals always scared me more than the Halloweens or Friday the 13th type movies. Those scared me, but didn't leave me with mental scarring, since although it is possible to encounter a psychopath, it seems less likely than encountering a rabid St. Bernard.
