Being single and somewhat of an a****le, I'm looking forward to seeing all my soon-to-be and currently married friends have some of this going on:

Though they may become happy and married, I will dwell in the solace of not having kids and not being fat.Beer

I'd say I eat fairly healthy. I'm 6'2" (ish stupid inches) and just measured I weigh 165 lb. So BMI is... 21.6. Rock n roll.

You could always go on a liquid diet....of alcohol.

We call that college in the US.

My BMI is 26, but I'm working hard to lose weight, and it's happening quickly. I'm at 203 now, and I was at 260 a year ago.

My goal is 180 by 2013. Big smile

That is great! What are you doing that is producing the results?

Portion control and light exercise. Nothing extensive, actually. Just consuming less calories and walking for 40 minutes 3-5 times a week.

Three easy steps for weight loss:

1) Cut sugary drinks out of your life. Everything you drink should be either calorie-free of very low-calorie. That may seem hard, but you have no idea how easy it is once you get past the initial change.

2) Eat smaller portions. For someone your size and weight, you need around 2500 calories a day to maintain your weight. Keep track of your calories - try to consume no more than around 2000 daily.

3) Go on light walks.

And then just wait - you'll start losing the weight. Don't get discouraged; I was for a long time, and still am to a certain extent. It's not as hard as you think.

I'm no professional, but this works. Thumbs Up Assuming, of course, that this is even an issue you care about.
