Our CD (Monarch Trail/Skye) has been up there a while, but I just saw this thread now. They've done great work for us on CD baby. Great company! http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/monarchtrail

Reviews of course are on this site: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=8865

And a recent discussion which I also just found here: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=99553

Wow, CD Baby offers FLAC files next to those lossy mp3s. Well done, great!

If you like really non-cliché live albums, this one is quite interesting. Played with only two musicians, but sounds like a full band, due to active use of loops, real time programming and other technical deviations of modern time.

Preview songs facility. No vocals to tolerate so that's a plus. Quite synthesizer oriented but is rock. Last track may be of interest especially to the more prog oriented prog fans.

The structure of Runescape makes farming rather unlikely, but also in those example with the bear, it is possible in the event the player knows which mobs to locate.

It is a very good album.

May I also suggest this:

And these are also interesting:

(they're also part of the 5$ per cd if you buy 3 and above)

I have to give a second or possibly 3rd thumbs up for Condition Red. Both their first and second albums are quite good. Progressive metal sound including saxophone and violin as well as mixing male and female lead vocals. Really good stuff with excellent guitarists Lars Mattson and Alex Masi, as well as a guest appearance from Derek Sherinian.

I came across CD Baby a while ago and uploaded my album The Interconnectedness of All Things http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/maestroeden

I know its a shameless plug but I'm struggling to catagorize it and any suggestions (nice ones) would be appreciated. There is also a free track available at maestroeden.com

Thanks

We’ve totally redesigned the CD Baby music store, and we want everyone to see — and try — it. That’s why we're offering a special, one-time-only promotion next Monday through Friday:

When you purchase MP3s from cdbaby.com
between July 30th and August 3rd,
100% of the money will go to the artists who made that music.

For musicians who direct their own careers, every dollar counts. Your support goes a long way to help them record their next album, shoot a concert video, pay the bills while they’re on tour, etc. To celebrate the launch of our newly re-designed music store we’re giving you the opportunity to make your dollars count even more!

We hope you’ll check out the redesigned CDBaby.com and help keep independent music alive and well.

Click “Browse Music” to view our amazing array of artists, purchase a few MP3s, and support talented musicians from around the world who are making music-industry success happen on their own terms.

Visit the new CDBaby.com

Sincerely,

Brian Felsen

CD Baby :

Website (free streaming, digital copy purchase, physical copy purchase) :
www.piezotheband.com

Facebook :

We have been recently added on PA but we currently have no reviews and no ratings so we would REALLY appreciate it if you people checked us out and took the time to write a review so we can get feedback from real prog fans!
Thanks alot and I hope you enjoy it!!

OOH! What a great thread this is - i've certainly found a few great bands here.

You may enjoy the prog band i play in - we are called Kettlespider.

We have recently been added to the Progarchives website and are excited about the global release of our independent debut album 'Avadante'.

Here is the CDBaby link:

Checkout this young band – heavy prog with little romantic accent. Awesome music. Virtuel – you can find here:

That 'Yesterdays' album sounds interesting - some lovely music there.

Don't forget to check out "The Water is Wide Variations" by Al Fleeman. There's a review here.
