Let's find out how many people feel the same way.... probably most of us.

I don't know you, so you might be right, but I think I could give you a run for your money in that department.

Maybe you have a chance, but you're almost a decade younger than me and have plenty of time to avoid winning.

Let's just say this- VERY few of us are NOT socially retarded.

But we could totally have a contest.

How would this be measured? Cause I have lots of friends but all of them agree that I'm awkward and weird as hell... but does that make me more socially awkward for them to think i'm weird, or is it more awkward to just have no friends at all?

I can't say I've ever had an actual friend, just people who were friendly towards me at school, and nothing outside of it.

you guys are making me sad... :-(

I don't know anything truly about you people but you gotta have more than internet friends! You love prog and most people on this forum are enjoyable to talk to and i laugh everyday I get on this website.

If anyone of you guys lived near me I would fkin get coffee and talk about random stuff with you guys!

And A Person, I know what that's like- feeling like no one in school is your friend at all- they are jsut friendly towards you but they make you feel like they're only that way because they have to see you.

After high school I only continued to be friends with 1 person that went to my school.

I have a couple of friends from school I still keep in touch with, well, sort of. One of them I try to avoid because I don't really like him, and the other one I avoid because deep inside I think he doesn't really like me.

I'm agreeing with Greg.

You don't necessarily need to have the same friends as you had in school. I've lived all over the world... but I still managed to find people I like. Though I will admit it was hardest in the States...

but this all goes to how you judge friends and sh*t and bla bla bla.

You just gotta be friendly... and this is coming with someone with self-defined trust issues...

I been working on getting my band members for 6 years. It started with 2, and it took 4 years for the guy on drums, and 2 years for the guy on bass.

I'm expecting another 2 years for the keys and sound manipulation.

I find it VERY difficult to work with people in general so it takes me forever to work stuff out. I can't FATHOM getting 2 guys at once to work on things. If they can't get the vision I kick them out- I tried out a keyboard player last week and he said he has been playing since he was 9 years old... but I was as good as he was and he got all pissy because I told him I expected my keyboard player to be better than me so I couldn't deal with it. Haha

I've talked to two people I knew in high school because I ran into them, I felt bad for not remembering their names.
