Ermm  Well, I've got to go outside now, into the very maw of Winter, to split some firewood, bring in a lot more, and shovel some snow. (The white stuff was slow in arriving this year, but it's here with a vengeance now!)Ouch

How very manly of me. Wink But don't pity my plight o'ermuch. I'll likely have a beer or three (micro -- all natch, natch) as I perform my Herculean labours! Mmmm... Sunday! Sauna later!Big smile

I came, I saw, I did the wood, I drank four beer.

The driveway will have to wait -- need early night -- just me and Herman Melville.

"Thar she blows!"

I wish....Wink

Keep on proggin!

Snow? I remember snow. That frosty white precipitation that weighs about 500 lbs a shovel full come February.

About twenty years ago snow was the bane of my existence. I moved West (young man) and buried my shovel in the hard packed California desert, drank a large golden ale and forever swore an allegiance to the sun.

I have witnessed snowfall with in the past few years, however, here it melts in minutes rather than months. It's even possible, dear Professor, to ride your motorbike year round.

Not if you live where snow is only on the caps of distant mountains.

Move Clown, move!

Yeah and I will be in one of the most perfect climates by that time, although this is not a very attractive town (Mills, mills, mills). maybe someday I will be able to fly away.
