Over the years, we've had 7 cats & most of them have allowed it to a point; one of our current cats, Tosca will let me caress her belly as long as I like, as will Baggins... until he tires of it, when he registers his disapproval (nature red in tooth & claw)

Both Miki and Kiwi like belly rubs and often present their belly so that they may be rubbed.

"Hey, there. Did you want something from me?" :

I forgot to mention that Harper is a mix of a Pitbull and a Labrador.

The love of my life is hitting it off with my stepdad: "r-r-r-r-r-r-r ... RR-RR-RR-RR-RR-RR!!"

My mother wanted to take a picture of Harper, so my stepfather told Harper to stand upon that short wall, so she did, looking straight, being all serious for some reason:

See the white on her chin? It runs all the way down the front of her neck. See, I told you she's got that white stripe of a tigress.

Hey I'm a cat lover but there's plenty of room for the doggies, such loyal friends.   Dayvenkirq that shot of your lab mix on the wall is hilarious.

She may be at her geriatric age but she is still a fun-loving, competitive, clingy rascal.

Nice pics, funny how they all love pulling a rope, best of their toys. With Gaston I have to pay attention, he pulls so hard and takes it so seriously that his gums start bleeding and I worry that some tooth might come loose!

I love both, though dogs present more of a logistic challenge when planning a vacation. We can just have a neighbor feed the cats and they are fine. Dogs are a lot more psychologically dependent and need company.

Exactly. My mother found out that Harper wouldn't eat until my mom would come over and eat. Harper likes to eat in company.

Clown will sit anywhere, even on my shoulder and arm:

I don't understand this. Why does she do that? Massaging me? Making sure that I will sit still so that she could rest on me? She'll go anywhere, even to the armpits:

Halt! The prisoner is trying to escape, reaching out with left her paw. She successfully opened it 1/3 of the way. I love her and all, but I don't want her to get in a brawl with Harper.

"Hey! I was working, you know?":

LOL . Looks like a nebula in the eye.

BTW, Clown does like the bellyrub, as it turns out. It's when you go further down is when things get a bit ugly.

"OK. Gonna have you for breakfast ... before I have my actual breakfast":
(don't worry, the rabbit was still alive when that picture was taken.)

"OK. Let's see if I won't be bothered during my big game with you, pal":

"You know, you are really gonna regret it that you stepped your foot on my turf":

"HEY! Get back here, you little troublemaker!" :
(The bunny is right near her paws.)
