yes couse in 1814 we signed a/created a constitution build on french and american, indipendence literature, and other writers of the time (Voltaire, Montesque, Roussoue), create the norwegian, state,, their is too much details to really ellaborate all, (the history of Norwegian politcal life, life as indipendent country as looooong and complex) couse Dano-Norway was on Napolions side in the war (Norway was becouse Denmark was, couse Norway had no say in that matters couse Denmark had interests in the war and was allied with Napoleon, Sweden was on the side with Britton, Russia, and later on America, (when they entered), a Genral of Napoleon came on bad terms with Napoleon and rided to Sweden, became a Swedish general on Napoleons side, but for Sweden, he later become Swedish king, from Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, he became Carl-Johan, and as a price Sweden was givven Norway from Denmark (Denmark lost its southern parts, to Germany (Schleswig-Holstein), and Scania to Sweden, between 1810 and 1814, Norwegian earls, counts, and other highly possitoned and educated men, sat around tables read ALL (i mean basicly ALL) literature of the englightment age, old Platon, Aristotles, , filosphy, political science of that time, everything they could get their hand on and authered the Norwegian constitution, (and this is not shovisnisme, but it is marked as one of the milestones in political mindgames and plotting in European history, as i was told in the history class, at the Universaty when the lecturor, explained it to uss)

by the time we were givven to the Swedes, we had our constitution made, so we could have something to say, but as also said, as a small country heavy press from a country like Russia and Brittan, you know when you shal bow your head, but they could not ether look past a rightfull claim for constitution or a rightfull and well outhered text document, which other countrys based their policys on, so the govournment was splitt between Stockholm and Christiania (Oslo), the gouvernment was in Stockholm but some officials had to be from Norway, also, but they had to work in Sweden, it was not allways it was followed which agrivated alot of both Norwegians in all parts of the sociaty but also agrivated the elite, politicians, writers, and aritists

at that time two political fractions emerged in the landscape, Liberal and Concervative, (Libaral party is Norways oldest party, then the Concervative, then the Labourparty and then the Farmerparty),

the Concervatives wanted to preserve the danish herritage from the dano-norwegian union, wanted to go back to written danish, wanted that church and state should be one, that the goal was to get back in the folds of Copenhagen,

the Liberals, wanted Norway to look back at the roots, wanted the country to reliquis all ties to both Denmark and Sweden and to to that they encouraged research, work on, and creation of a overall norwegianness, this is called New-romantic age, liberals and artists, started to write about the scenry, write, over the top poems about fjords, mountains, vallyes and such, praising the Norwegian nature, some people started to collect old fairytales (like Grimm brothers) Asbjoernsen and Moe, collected 1000s of differnt fairytales, folklore, songs, and legends in books, which you might will find at any university librarys,

so while Norway was partly under Swedish rule, and previously was under danish rule, the fight of an identity was in high volume in 1800s,  it would be interesting to witness, but the literature of it is imense (so if you ever is bored and wants to read intence drama, read Norwegian 1800s history, ), it is almost as intence as Israel-Palestine, almost,
