Our final gig of the spring schedule will be Manning
in support of current album "Margaret's Children" with special
guest solo-guitar genius Matt Stevens
at the Wesley Centre, Maltby on June 16th.
Please come along to support both acts who are on very fine form at the
moment. £12 / £10. ·
the autumn schedule will
be our busiest for some time. Although there are
still a couple of gigs to be finalised, most are now on sale: September
1st. Grey Lady Down + Sean Filkins (The Wesley Centre, Maltby). £12/£10. The resurgent Grey Lady Down supported by
former Big Big Train vocalist Sean Filkins and band. September
23rd. The Flower Kings (The Picturedome, Holmfirth). £18/£15. A rare
UK gig from the Swedish prog legends, featuring Roine Stolt, as part of the
bands tour in support of their new album. October 13th. Gordon
Giltrap and Oliver Wakeman + Chris and Dan Fry. (The Wesley
Centre, Maltby). £15/£12. One of a few dates this autumn to launch
their collaboration on a new album due for release later in the year. Expect both solo and duo material in the
all-seated show. ·
We will also programme our first gig at the
superb Citadel venue in St. Helens on September 21st with Mr So
and So supported by Liverpool-based prog-metal band Arkaidence. Tickets on sale
soon. ·
Finally,
the CRS stage (stage 2) on Friday
August 3rd at the Cambridge Rock
Festival is now complete, and features (subject to change) - Kyrbgrinder, Winter
In Eden, Jump, Halo Blind, Soulweaver, JoanovArc, Sankara, Twelve Clay Feet, Exhibit
A, The Witchers. All

With the announcement of the MANNING line-up changes coming later in the year (See www.guymanning.com), this next gig is one of the last few chances so see the extended 8 piece format in concert.
