This poll is inspired on ole-the-first's avatar LOL

The main purpose of it is to discuss about the greatest show with the hottest  chicks ever. It would be obvious and deserved if Dale Cooper takes this hands down.

My top 5 characters are (WARNING: SPOILERS ALERT for those who haven't seen the show and may have interest in it)

Dale Cooper: Duh

BOB: Few times I was as scared as the first time I saw the episode of Maddy Ferguson's killing. BOB is Creepy as f**k.

Leland Palmer: Ray Wise is a hell of an actor. When we realise he is the actual killer, during those episodes he completely steals the show with a total psychotic performance.

Albert Rosenfield: The bitter FBI agent. I loved how he could get on everybody's nerves.

Audrey Horne: Because she's a fox.

My least favorite characters (in no order...they sucked pretty much all the same)

Josie Packard: Her appearences were utterly boring

John Justice Wheeler: He was just the excuse of matching Audrey up with somebody

James Hurley: pretty much the same as Josie. He was boring as hell. But I do recognise him that when I first listen to "Just You And I" I laughed my ass off due to his girly voice.

Norma Jennings: No charisma whatsoever. Didn't do anything for the series.

Dick Tremayne: His name pretty much summarizes him. A complete idiot

Windom Earle. Annie Blackburn. The Log Lady, The Owls. Laura Palmer for showing breasts in the movie. Big smile

Yeah, I got the whole series including the pilot and the movie on DVD.

I didn't try the series until late into the last season because of all the hype.  After that I became really interested in the work of David Lynch.

And an honorable mention to Angelo Badalamenti.  His soundtrack work really made the series.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Same here. Unluckily, for the movie I had to buy a DVD with portuguese subtitles because it was the only one I could find in Argentina (no versions with spanish subtitles). It's a bummer because I'm lazy to pay attention to the whole movie in english. Anyway, it's better than no having the movie at all.

Badalamenti's work not only on Twin Peaks, but his whole work with Lynch is awesome.

If you really like the film, don't miss the original screenplay: http://www.lynchnet.com/fwwm/fwwmscript.html

It has a lot of deleted scenes and some scenes have a different angle. Some nice ideas omitted from the final version... Some deleted scenes are taking place AFTER the events of the final episode. Moreover, in the script you may find the answers to some questions you may have (don't expect all the answers, of course, it would be too easy) Wink It just gives a different and more complete view on the movie.

Only in the first season (halfway) but either Dale Cooper, Sheriff Truman or The Pie at the Diner (it counts as a character).

Lara Flynn was the least attractive to me in Twin Peaks as well. In the film Happiness I don't know if it was her character, how she looked or a combination of both, but she was smokin' hot. Unluckily then she went into surgery and ended up looking like this:

Mädchen Amick to me was just gorgeous. The kind of girl you can present to your mother. Apparently sweet, funny and delicate, but you can tell she must be good in the sack, lol. Plus, she still looks pretty fine today.

Sherilyn Fenn was a total fox, with a sex appeal none of this other women could match. Definitely the hottest. As for today, I saw in youtube a video of a Twin Peaks fest held in 2011 and she looked like a train wreck.

Heather Graham only got better with age. In Twin Peaks she looked pretty nice, but not as striking as in the years to come. I think it was her hair.

Finally Sheryl Lee. Similar case to Mädchen Amick, though I personally prefer Amick.

Oh man, looking at that list I'm reminded how many fantastic characters this show had. I can't choose just one. Wacko

Dale Cooper, definitely. Such a quirky, yet suave guy. If I can't pick him, then... maybe Leland... or Audrey? Her excessive attractiveness aside, it was cool to see a female character have more balls and resolve than most of the males in the show. Benjamin Horne and his 'General E Lee' phase was actually pretty funny; a really interesting way of demonstrating the man's defense mechanisms. But yeah, Ray Wise is an amazing actor.
