I’m often seen in the streets at daytime, too. And sometimes my wife and I go out for lunch.

I have passed the palace a hundred times or more but I’ve never been inside it.

Well done, Ian!

Thank you.

Does not the heat kill you? Do you not yearn for the Fjords and an Arctic blast?

LOL

The temperature today is 23°C. I can live with that.

Sometimes (but not often) we have temperatures exceeding 40. That’s pretty hard. We stay in the shade and drink Almora (rehydration salt). Today, on the other hand, we sit in the sun and drink wine.

And Lindos is far worse than Rhodes town: I think the record is 54 (in the shade).

Didn't realise you lived in Rhodes. It looks great. Is your wife Greek?

Peake is one of my favourite writers, so I hoped it was the Tower of Flints or something like that … the Outer Dwellings, maybe …

Δεν πιραση (never mind). Were the books written in 1900 or later?
