Wood splitting is great exercise over long periods of time, so you should do it every day for at least an hour since your motivation to explicitly exercise is nil.

You should also probably eat some food.

I'm surprised I didn't end up with a migraine.

I should explicitly exercise but I don't know how to find the motivation.

If you lack motivation to start doing something, the motivation follows action.

That's probably ture, I need to force myself.

If you could maintain a 2,000 calorie diet and exercise for 40 minutes each day (minus one day for rest) for 3 weeks, you'd probably be surprised at the results.

My ears are ringing, but I don't know if it's actually real or if I'm still being panicky. Tinnitus would be so awful.

My ears ring sometimes for no apparent reason, but I don't think it's tinnitus related.

It could be blood pressure, though. Unhappy

BTW, Alan, is that band that you reviewed a local band? I have never seen them.

Nah, their from California, and I'm the reason they're on this site. I thought I'd give them a review since nobody seems to care yet. But they're a relatively new band, and hopefully they get more attention soon.

I see. Do you know a band called Hemina? They released an album this year and it's getting a lot of appraisal, even though I think the band killed it after 30 min, about 4 or 5 songs in (protip: it is 79 minutes long).

I've heard of them and I remember them releasing an EP a couple of years ago, but I never listened to them. Is their new album worth hearing? I'm typically not a traditional prog metal fan.

It has some GREAT moments. As I mentioned, up until the fifth song the album is perfect in everything, but on the sixth song onward it becomes rather generic and forgettable. Besides, it is f**king hard to find any working links, it's not worthy.

I found the video for Milk on crookedtrees' blog and was compelled to listen to the band.

War Scythe

A war scythe is a regular scythe that has been adapted for combat use by re-attaching the blade parallel to the haft, rather then perpendicular so that it looks like a bill. After the German Peasants' War during 1524–1525, a fencing book edited by Paulus Hector Mair described in 1542 techniques how to fence using a scythe.[10]. War Scythes widely used by Polish and Lithuanian peasants during revolts in the 18th and 19th centuries.
