I've posted little clips a couple times and then took them down because they weren't even vaguely prog. This one at least is proto-prog of something. This is from last night's gig. Woo hoo.

Wowee- I love your acoustic guitar tone and the way your interpreted this LZ masterpiece.  What tuning are you using there?

It's DGCGCD low to high. The low E is rarely used so some people tune it down to C to make more octaves (that's Devin Townsend's main tuning)


Thanks for taking the time to listen. This has been one of my favorite pieces on guitar since high school. Though there are a few little glitches, I was pretty happy with this video and performance.

Had forgotten some of the nuances on this one so had to rewatch my video to see how I played it...crazy.

Lots of bobbles but I think the emotion is there.

And yeah shameless bump for those who haven't seen it before. Jimmy Page was the man.

Jimmy's playing on the SRTS version is one of my favorite guitar moments, he was so amazing on that 73 tour.

Hmmm....we been needing a new song for the summer set.
 
 
Right now I'm listening to an early 70's version of the Firm's "Midnight Moonlight" Wink 
 
We've done D'yer Maker mashed up with some Bob Marley to make a point.
 
We tried "Going to California" but never pulled it off well enough for me to let it see the light of day.
 
We did "Ramble On" early and this may actually get pulled out again as I'm now playing bass live.
 
 
The most likely, though, is doing Bert Jansch's "Black Waterside." My love of Pagey has led me to the source.
