OK, what about a poem by Hjalmar Gullberg?

FYI: I’m Norwegian though I live in Greece.

I say nothing is nothing

Sure, I will join in.

Gullberg is one of the better Swedish poets. I'm actually finnish, but I have lived in Sweden my entire life. So my favorite poet is Pentti Saarikoski (propably Finlands most well-known name). And if we're speaking about Swedish poetry and litterature, I'd say that Hjalmar Söderberg is one of the best writers in the whole world.

Is it a monument?

Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m quite sure that Mika Häkkinen is more famous, at least outside Finland. And Snowy said it was a building, which probably means it’s not a monument (it could be both, though). Smile

I worded that badly, I meant that Pentti Saarikoski is the most famous poet of Finland. But I guess you are right about Mika Häkkinen being the most famous person overall, Sibelius might be a bit bigger.

I'm not 100% sure about a monuments definition. But I'd put my money on that Taj Majal is a building and a monument at the same time.

Yeah, and Taj Mahal might even be the answer. If it’s not: Is it in China?

And I forgot the most famous Finnish person ever: Vompatti!

For our purpose a monument is not a building. Taj Mahal is an exception.

Not in China

Ah, that excludes a lot of buildings. Is it built in 1900 or later?
