The videos? Well yes I was quoting them to agree with the selection. But the list of bands under those videos, haven't mentioned I think so far.

You may have beaten me to it, but (since everyone seems to be posting videos here anyway...) I'm beating you to the posting of videos. (note to everyone else - please excuse our douchebaggery, Smurph started it) my band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UEU9qsmh7c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2lEJEMtr_c&feature=relmfu and although the film is shoddy here, the music is from our first LP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnTuo7LNhig&context=C489c584ADvjVQa1PpcFOBTW7iHkzFeb7BijPB-dK38OwjJONnfrY= |

Ok guys here is another one.
Pan.Thy.Monium is the most obscure project of Dan Swano, which i'm sure a lot of you already know. The band was active in the 90's and released 3 albums before breaking up. If there was ever a band representative of experimental extreme metal they are it, those of you who don't like this kind of style, don't bother with this. The band does not incorporate chaos like other bands do, but holds more structured songs, always progressive and interesting, fusing saxophone, clarinet and more. just check this out, one of the most groovy experimental metal riffs you can find. And if you like this here is some more. |

Not very bad. The drummer is certainly doing justice. This is like jazz-rock drums with proggy New Wave guitars in an alt-rock environment lacking reverb.

The Dismemberment Plan is quite known, but their first album's underratedness is criminal

From Chili, "Bandhada" have done two albums that aren't classified in PA Bandhada - same (1984)Bandhada - Open Cage (2009) They are doing a nice blend between fusion and symphonic prog. They sound pretty similar to Kenso, so really canterbury-ish music. A tad easy listening but I really like both albums... a nice discovery for me. |

Just posted a review about them, so i guess this is the place to post a video to let you hear what it's all about.
The band is called Ocean, and if you like that 70's hard rock progressive style, with some angry guitars, check this out. The songs on the album flows from one to the next, but Youtube offers 2 songs together that are not in the right chronological order of the album. But this is still great. |

In following with Sagichim's post, which I think is a pretty good idea, I give you RAM. US proggers who are obscure, even though they play a kind of music that should resonate with a good heap of folks around here:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows about this band. They truly need all the advertising they can get. That sole album of theirs is a real gem
