The American version of Men Behaving Badly had Rob Schneider in the lead role if I remember correctly. I think that Tony Shaloub, who went on to become Monk, had a role in the American version too, but I might be confusing my bad comedies.

Shaloub got his start on Wings. Not a bad sitcom either, just very underrated. |
Yep, I remember him on Wings. I was thinking of Stark Raving Mad though. I think the two shows followed each other, if I remember correctly. Doogie Howser was the other guy in that show.

^ The Twins must be really bad, didn't the Orioles just lose to a community college a couple days ago? For me: On the laptop actually.

I just finished watching 70s cult film A Boy And His Dog (although that is a movie) - Post-apocalyptic scenario
- Alternate History
- telepathic dog, good dog acting
- Central character who is barely sympathetic
- Cold and evil
- funny
a bit too edgy in some areas to be made into a film today. The character is well... uh.... he has problems. Decent-to-Good flick though! I missed out the ending however, I didn't pick up on the joke and twist. The movie would have been better if I didn't know.

Sticks very closely to the book, the casting has been done well & the filming & feel is nigh on perfect; if you know the books, you have an advantage, but even if you don't it's an example of how good TV drama can be.

I don't. Is it fantasy or historical?

Sort of both really - based on a the first in a series of fantasy novels, but the fantasy side is almost incidental; reads/looks like a historical novel rather than fantasy
