It's an age old problem, how do you write music that's full of feeling and gets interesting ideas across.  How do you keep music coherent without becoming repetitive and boring? 

I believe that a balance between Train of thought Writing and goal based writing is the answer, but it is of course a big question!  I really want to know what you guys think of this one, because it's prog rock's specialty to have bucketloads of both
