^ True. As long as it's nothing TOO ridiculous, I am in all likelihood going to do whatever it takes to see them.

Last time I spent $230 for my girlfriend and I. It stung a little at first but it was definitely worth it! LOL

Been following this on the Power Windows website......its gonna be a GREAT 2012 summer!!!

This is also great news on the book front......from www.2112.net

""The new Clockwork Angels novelization is the impetus behind a new story from Spinner.com:
"Can you imagine a world where, instead of fossil fuels, modern machinery runs on the power of steam and everyone's favourite band is Rush?  If so, you've glimpsed into the alternate reality that unfolds in the forthcoming steampunk novel from sci-fi author Kevin J. Anderson. The best-selling scribe of over 100 genre books, including titles for the 'Star Wars,' 'Dune,' and 'X-Files' franchises, is writing a companion novel to 'Clockwork Angels,' the upcoming studio album from Canadian prog-rock giants Rush.

"'I take my inspiration from many sources, but music has always been a key to my literary imagination, more than just a soundtrack but a trigger for images, scenes, and strange worlds,' Anderson tells Spinner.  In fact, he dedicated his first novel, 'Resurrection, Inc,' to the Rush album 'Grace Under Pressure,' a nod that spawned a friendship with Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart which eventually led to the 'Clockwork Angels' collaboration. Spinner.com, March 2, 2012""

Rolling Stone listed their 100 albums coming out in 2012 that you must hear in their latest issue.  Clockwork Angels is mysteriously not included.

I come from a Ford family, so I have always driven Fords.

I generally enjoy reading Rolling Stone, even though it is usually very poor when it comes to covering progressive rock, and I could generally care less for all of the crap rap artists that they cover, although the articles are generally interesting to read, even if I'm not interested in the artist.  I have read on PA over the years that the head honcho at RS hates Rush, which is why they have been omitted from the RNR Hall of Fame to date, but it seems that if there were to be any album released within the realm of PA to get listed in such an article in Rolling Stone, Rush would be that artist.  Aside from maybe a Pink Floyd reunion that is, anyways.  LOL

I quite like the singles "caravan" and "BU2B". It's great to see that Rush are still rocking hard after all these years.

There is sooo much stuff on the internet about the new album, its so cool to see Rush get this exposure. All the artwork I have been seeing is pretty amazing, very steampunk themed for sure. I can't wait to see the tour!

RS has been insignificant in my musical life since I stopped buying the magazing back in late 80's.....for artists like Rush they are totally insignificant to their musical advancement.

Once hip hop exploded and one hit wonders started showing up every month, RS became insignificant to the rock world

Here you go people........Its getting better!!!!

On Tuesday, March 27th, Roadrunner Records hosted a listening party where they premiered "Clockwork Angels" in its entirety for journalists and industry executives.  One of those in attendance was XM Radio's Lou Brutus, who today Tweeted:
"In studio right now w/Mark from Roadrunner listening to new tune from @RushIsABand called "Headlong Flight." It's awesome. #ByTorIsASnowDog"
In addition, two tweets from Dominic Nardella (program director at 92.3 in Cleveland) who Tweeted:
"Just heard new Rush song "Headlong Flight" ..... Holy f**king sh*t!!!!! 7 and a half minutes of pure genius!!!!!!"
- Thanks to RushIsABand for the headsup!

Signals is a brilliant album.

I believe both of those are the albums, though i'm disappointed pertaining to the red one. Very weak.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

Clockwork Angels is suppose to be in the future.....so maybe 2112 has some part in it also.

The story can have many angles.......The book ought to be good too.
