SBB live performance in Wroclaw, Poland (April 2012) – some of my pictures

SBB, legendary prog-band, has played a run of shows in Poland to promote their new album called simply SBB. They performed in a few cities and the last gig took place in Wroclaw.

Absolutely outstanding, over two hours long, concert was based on the latest tunes as well as the stuff from earlier periods this time played in new, extended arrangements (e.g. Odlot, Memento z banalnym tryptykiem, Feedom with us).

SBB performances are, from the earliest beginnings, famous for their long guitar and keyboards solos, improvisations, strong and powerful drums (new drummer Irek Glyk, young, talented successor of Jerzy Piotrowski). Guys are still in good form and hopefully they will serve us some good prog sounds in the future too.

Great photos, thanks Smile

I was on their concert few days before, in Katowice on 29th March. It was the first gig of the tour and I really enjoyed it.
Odlot with a wild improvised part was so impressive, but the drum-battle and the whole rest of the gig was also really good Smile
