The best I can get is either Classic Vinyl channel 26 or Deep Tracks channel 27 where I hear an occasional Prog song. We should all write to Sirius/XM and request a Prog Channel!!!

Eh. When I'm in the car I usually just throw an album on, especially in regards to prog.

I agree 100%---they don't realize that prog fans are loyal and will listen---there are just too many of the rock stations that overlap anyway---

It would be nice but I
1) Rarely listen to the radio
2) Would rather listen to a whole album
3) Can't fathom it being very successful
4) Don't think it would be the best idea and
5) 1-4

Sirius/XM do need a Progressive channel. I have always been a fan of Yes, ELP, Genesis, etc. However there are so many bands out there: Spock's Beard, Marillion, Mystery, IQ, Big Big Train. If these bands had some airplay I am sure they would all collectively benefit.

As for me I get by with a 14.6 hour Progressive playlist. I am always looking to find good music, however, and to my ears it is not Adele.

XM had one about 4-5 years ago and I guess it didn't get enough audience. I may have heard Mars Volta there first. It was cool, but alas gone.

Deep Tracks will pull some prog out of nowhere sometimes. I think Firth of Fifth came up once.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Xm, je leur ai écrit il y  a presque 3 ans. Ils ont répondu " merci, on va penser à çà!  Faut croire qu'ils y pensent encore, puisque rien n'a changé.  Xm, c'est un ramassis de cochonneries, à part les chaines de classique.  Pour le reste, ils ont une définition purement mercantile de ce que veut dire "bonne musique"  Xm SUCKS.

I turned Deep Tracks on in my uncle's car one night and heard Yes and Jethro Tull.  In my limited access, though, I haven't heard any since then.  You probably have to turn it on at the right time.

You can't be Sirius. Tongue

If I don't pop a CD in I have a flash drive so basically in effect my own damned prog radio station. Big smile

AOL used to have prog internet radio channel and I did make some good discoveries thanks to that.  Of course they don't anymore. Angry
