Nothing Lasts... But Nothing is Lost is my favourite. It's kinda long, but I still enjoy it. Then again it's probably meant to be listened to while on acid or something.

The "oh yeah, this is unrealistic and won't happen ever or will be very very hard" realization is so oppressive.

It's great to feel that everything you want is unattainable :D

I'm sure anything is attainable as long as hard work and dedication is applied, but it seems that the hard work and dedication is way too much accumulated stress for an end result that will ultimately be stressful anyway.

Practically, it seems that a pessimistic outlook beats optimism every time. Much much safer too.

I like to think that if I were optimistic I'd achieve more, but probably not.

Personally, I think it's best to just be the way you are get what you can get. Being someone else is hard.

That seems like a realistic mindset, but it's also depressing.

You guys make me sad sometimes. If I had thought that way, I never would have started my company or tried dating my wife.

Wow, it's kind of amazing how Sigur Ros keep doing the exact same thing and everyone keeps praising them for it.
I mean if crescendos are the only aspect of music one really cares about...
