The dub was good. Ghibli movies usually get a pretty good dubbing treatment. There were a couple points where the animation was different from the voice acting but the voice acting always sounded good. 

Also, and I didn't know this until after the movie because the role was so different than what he usually does...but the dad was played by Will Arnett (Gob from Arrested Development)

Ture, I've seen some of their films in English and there wasn't anything to complain about really.
