Yeah, but they don't occupy this place as much as we do.

Ture.

I'd be proud to be an element of disharmony.

We should find out what our individual elements are. I'd assume you're the element of loneliness.

Yay. My cutie mark can be a single butterfly curled into the fetal position crying itself to sleep.

That was actually pretty good.  The singing wasn't anything special, but it wasn't horrible.  Reminded me a bit of Maiden at times.

I probably should, but I'm listening to Goldmund and looking at the trees outside the window that are flowering, so it's kind of hard.

I'm sure you did. Hopefully it doesn't sound mad, but disappointed.

I'm at school currently, but we have dogwood relatively close by. There's also my mother's magnolia tree.

I think that this must be the song that I was thinking of the other day.  It wasn't Nirvana, but it could have easily been...  *video*

The goofy lumberjack redneck clothes make me think of Tad. Did you ever listen to them?
NO.  I can't say that I have ever heard of Tad.

They were kinda big in the underground grunge scene back in the '90s

Haha.  I'd never heard that before.  Was the vocalist Hurley?  LOL

PANIC AT THE DISCO!

I remember the girls in high school having fem-boners for that band.

I thought it had an appropriate tone, although having not heard what you have I wasn't disappointed.

I'm not sure if you should then seek the live recording or not. If I'll post in the Top 5 TMV Songs thread I might put the live version in there. I think the arrangement of the studio version is different enough, so that I'll be able to appreciate it on its own as a low-key miniature version of the great epic. But right now it's just the beginning that gets cut off.

@pekka- Is it on Spotify yet? I'm basically just morbidly curious after the failure that was their last album.

Seems to be on Spotify. I found it in a record store today.

And Octahedron is brilliant, the second best after Comatorium in a discography full of win.
