The only Ponty album I listen to any more is the acoustic album with Stanley Clarke and Al Di Meola, which is just beautiful.

This album is one of the most highly antecipated thing for me ever, even though I don't like Return to Forever that much.

It really hit me the other day, so I was glad to see the appreciation that's all.

That was back when my reviews sucked bad Embarrassed

But yeah, more or less 5 stars. I try not to give out 5 stars anymore but that one deserves it in my opinion.

I really need to branch out when it comes to ambient. Eno and Harold Budd is pretty much all I've heard.

I am generally not a big Harold Budd fan but I've been reviewing his stuff anyway. Only two of his albums I'd recommend: Abandoned Cities and Lovely Thunder, in that order. To be honest though, if you like darker stuff, Lustmord's ambient is way more interesting. Nothing beats Substrata and Cirque by Biosphere, though.
