Procol Harum is gothic prog rock not gay k, they are dark and sinister sometimes, and sometimes, sad and relfective and sometimes romantic and prestine, = like 1700 to 1800 gothic culutre and english romanticisme, contramovments, which is reflective in PH music, since it marriges, the gothic literature (Reid might have read some classic gothic literature in his teens), and the music is mostly romanticisme influenced or even Baroque (hint hint), Matthew Fisher is a classical trained pianist, organist, Brooker is a good pianis but i would bet my left pinky that Fisher even if he sticked to the organ could walk over Brooker in terms of piano also

Aginor, don't feel obliged to be serious to every comment.

By the way, prog rock IS gay. Über-gay.

Trust me. I know.  I listen to this genre.

That's how Gentle Giant works.

Stage 1: What is this fruity overly-British crap?
Stage 2: OMG, this is the best band to make music ever
Stage 3: Yeah, they're pretty cool and I respect them, but don't really listen that much

I am in stage 3.

the new Elton album seems promising, he is back to the piano, bass, drum trio, which he started with between, 69 and 71 (in live settings) you only saw Elton, Murrey and Olsson trailing of eachoter, and had extended jams and improvs

this is Elton on piano, Dee Murray on bass and Nigell Olsson on drums, (no guitar, or anything else....I think)

GG always seemed rather manly to me, at least compared to Genesis and Yes.

Please, guys, promise me you're not planning to make a poll titled: "Which band is the manliest?"

I'm not sure I could take comments and posts like: "I saw Bruford's willy once and compared it to Collins' lovepomp..."
