To my dear esteemed colleague Dean,
I dare say you missed the obvious.
If I had my own slaves, I would be more than capable of "making more"
(with my female slaves) on my own, thank you, very much.
P.S. This is turning out to be one of the most enjoyable threads I have seen here.

First, as we continue to engage, I do hope colorofmoney91, knows that we are deeply "tongue & cheek" here, As this utterly sexist, dribble continues. I am compelled to restate my sincere support to this thread's principles.
Having said that:
My Dear Dean,
Wrong again, in most fallacious way.
What makes you think I would have "ugly" slaves? C'mon get real dude. Edited by dennismoore - March 16 2012 at 12:12 |

Elementary deduction my dear Mr Smoore - you have a wife, ergo - you will have butt-ugly slaves... stands to reason.

Ouch!
You finally got me. One out of three for you my lad.
Though in the beginning I did state my preference for:
A man & concubine & more concubines... But I don't think that part is in the Bible...

LOL, guei thread?
Though I should have been expecting something like this at some point.
Too easy Alan, too easy. Also, contributing with the thread, Rita Lee, ex-member of the Br band Mutantes was bi-curious somewhere during the mid-70`s. |

The bassist Sara Lee, who played with Bob Fripp in his "League of Gentlemen" project, is a lesbian. Damn fine bassist also!

Female bassists... I agree Alan, I hadn't really thought about how many female bassists I like but there were a ton in the nineties.

Nope.
D'arcy from Smashing Pumpkins, Rika from Melt-Banana, and Tina Weymouth from Talking Heads are all awesome.

Lady bassists.....Start of a new topic thread?? I've played in one band with a lady bassist, Melanie....man, she was the BOMB!! We weren't prog, we were satire (a satire-band of Spinal Tap, who were themselves a satire-band!). I've known a few others....they always seem to marry a guy in the band, have a quick & tumultuous marriage which then implodes! My experience, anyway.... This seems to be a very all-inclusive list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_bass_guitarists Yeah, the 80's had that bouncy New Wave/Punk/Riot Grrl vibe goin' on! It seemed to wane in the 90's. We want more! |

Every girl I've ever met has hated the sound of bass, be it funk or sub-bass dance music stuff.

D'arcy Wretzky. It's unfortunate she became a cocaine addict in the late 90's. Now, she lives on an isolated, remote farm somewhere outside of Chicago with her horses. She hasn't spoken to any of the Pumpkins in years. Edited by Fox On The Rocks - March 18 2012 at 20:55 |

You mean dance music, like Abba, or music that people dace to, regardless of genre? |

People are talking about how sexuality doesn't matter in music but you may not be aware of the musical genre that is about being gay, Queercore. Obviously its status as a musical "genre" is debatable as this is based around lyrical content rather than anything musical but most hardcore punk fans recognise it as a genre/movement. Its most significant act was the all lesbian band Team Dresch, though the legacy lives on with more recent bands like Gay For Johnny Depp*.
*Best band name ever incidentally.
