Right now I'm going back and forth between "Hark! The Ech'ing Air a Triumph Sings" by Henry Purcell and "Vespers of 1610" by Claudio Monteverdi.

Their best track I've heard so far.
Now listening to ... ahem ... Corrina Bailey Rae, 'Call Me When You Get This'. I just can't put my finger on those strings in the beginning and the end. I was doing this 6-9pm shift in Macy's and heard this.

I never answered that. Since it's no longer a phenomena of sound waves it isn't for me. How about the rest of you?

Sorry, but I don't understand your question. Even though it's been a while since I've started recording music, I still don't know the difference between stereo and mono. Please, don't laugh . Me personally, I still don't have the "jukebox" under control. For instance:
Thank you, guys, you did it. After a 5-hr sleep 'Help, I'm a Rock' popped in my head.

The question was really just a joke anyway, asking if you hear music in your head in mono or stereophonic sound. Meaning, is the mind's "left ear" hearing the same thing as the mind's "right ear", or are the music's instrumental components separated into separate channels to simulate an actual "room", or listening space?
Come to think of it, it is kind of hard to explain what stereo is. I'm sure someone else can explain it better than I.

I only know that the difference is the presence or absence of an instrumental part or two or if something does not sound well mixed. Oh, well. I will do some research on that. Thanks.

"The Land of Make-Believe" by the Easybeats.. Not sure where that came from, haven't heard it in months. Amazing song though.

It was actually a serious question. I conjured up some music in my head that has a definite stereo presence in audio (the end of Karn Evil 9), but in recall it doesn't have one but it doesn't seem quite mono either, if you know what I mean.

I meant that when I first asked you about it, I was trying to be funny. It actually has turned into an interesting question though. I *think* I hear songs in stereo in my head, in that I can sense some 3D quality to the sound (depth, space) rather than it sounding like something out of a transistor radio. The physical nature of "memories of music" could in fact be very different from the physical nature of "real time experience of music", though. Interesting query here... Any brain surgeons on this forum?

I heard this in my head at work today: Ale-spew, puddle-brew -- boys, throw it up clean. Coke and Bacardi colours them green. From the typing pool goes the mini-skirted princess with great finesse Fertile earth-mother, your buriel mound is fifty feet down in Baker Street underground (Oh, what the hell!)

I have now posted in this thread by accident twice when I meant to post in the real "What Are You Listening To" thread (since the abridged title looks the same). What chaos have you created, Brian????? Also, thank goodness for the delete option.
