If there's something the prog community here did, it was hating Camel so much it estranged me from their music as well.

I hate to say it, but I'm startign to think Snow Goose is always a bad idea. I used to like it but now I think it's not got enough rock in it.

I think that is basically it for me. The music is pretty enough but it just kinds of lulls me to sleep. As you said, it lacks the rock element that I crave.

Hmm. I actually went and bought Doomsday Afternoon from a used records bin a summer or two ago. I've only listened to it once, and I think I remember it wasn't too bad. Perhaps a new spin in a minute.

That's one reason I love Phideaux, DA is so dfferent from #7, is so different from Snowtorch. But they all ahve an unmistakable Phideaux sound.

I don't know that Matt would enjoy Phideaux. Anyways, I am current enjoying Munly and the Lupercalians, because I remembered they exist and whenever that happens I have to listen to them.

I just believe #7 had the most talent from an instrumentation standpoint. But I'm guessing Matt prolly still wont like it that much. Prolly more than Snowtorch tho.
