DennisMoore here (The Monty Python one), I recently found this wonderful forum and I am happy to be here. I love all kinds of prog and don't really go by labels, NeoProg, RetroProg, ClassicProg. I have no clue as to what all that means. I love: YES (my favourite band) Nektar Eric Johnson Genesis ELP Transatlantic Mystery Gentle Giant Porcupine Tree RUSH Renaissance Pink Floyd Vintage Elton John The Who Flower Kings Spocks Beard Pat Metheney Glass Hammer etc.. As a token of my sincerity. I am including a small gift. A 3400 pixel hirez photo of Jon Anderson taken by myself when I saw YES at San Louis Obispo in 1996. I am still working on that one. Though I have concers that smashing bricks into one's noggin is in fact truly "progressive"... I will get back to you with the most progressive Pytoner/s.

I should never think that tortue and repression to the extreme of death could ever be considered "progressive"
but...
There was that "comfy chair" idea. That was a bit progressive...
I'm afraid we still have not hit the mark. I have a few ideas, but I need to get my Python DVDs out so I can
get some still images from the vid, to make a proper showing here...

I know now, Cleese's silly walks guy. Does that character actually have a name? Let's get some more nominees. I think this is poll worthy.

.....a sort of idealized version of the complete Renaissance Man...That sounds pretty gosh darn PROGRESSIVE to me! Can anybody get more progressive than that???

"Ministry of Silly Walks" would actually be a rather nice name for a prog band that didn't take itself too seriously!
