Hello gentlemen,

I just want to present my band, called The Distorting Glass.
We are based in London, UK and I guess you could call it Heavy Prog, although I like the somewhat misguided label of Art Rock for specific reasons.

The recordings are all me, instruments and singing alike (I studied sound engineering so they don't sound half bad haha), but I have finally found some great musicians and we're currently in a rehearsal stage (whilst I write more material of course).

I think people in this forum will appreciate the care that has been taken in all details, whether it is the musical, lyrical, conceptual or engineering aspects.

Here are the links, website for explanations, pictures and lyrics, and the other for the "social media" aspect lol:

I hope you like the music!

Sounds good to me Pablo! Thumbs Up

Hope you don't mind me embedding the samples from your website here - it is more likely that folks will listen to them and comment if they can play them directly from within the thread rather than having to go to your site and then find the music page.

Good stuff.
Shouldn't be a problem adding you once you have an album or reasonably substantial EP released.  Smile

Thanks mate that's very cool of you!

Definitely easier to listen to that way.

It took us long enough but the band's EP has now been released.
It's called The Germ and it is available digitally at the following places:

I hope you guys like it!
