I don't care for the prog metals.  A little metal in my prog, OK.

But for our younger members it can be an opening and that's rather cool.

Then again are you absolutely certain that you just think that you think for yourself?

We have the Shred Room and the Shed and those are all we permit.   Share your experiences here by all means, but for chat, go elsewhere.

Loving prog metal isn't a shame too. Everyone can listen to what they want. My remark is that when I say prog most of the people I know name me prog metal band's names. I rather like bands like Genesis or Gentle Giants (to name a few, I won't make a list) that are smoother. Some consider me as a dinosaur or a freak just because I love prog. In fact, I don't care what you are listening to, I just like to see the discussions and to see who's like me and like progressive rock rather than progressive metal. I'd even like to see some who are prog metal fans and that explain us their point of view etc.
