It wasn't him.

He wasn't an orator.

Did he need any special equipment to do what he is famous for?

I’m no expert, but the history of photography started much earlier, and that’s definetely linked to the history of motion pictures. So maybe, just maybe, he had something to do with it …

well, it all depends on the definition of "history of moton pictures". you can go back to the invention of the wheel, if you want to, for the transportation mechanism of the film

But we also know that he was born in the second half of the 18th century and died in the 19th century at the age of 63 (unlike Patrick Henry who died in 1799Wink).

None of the above.

I think you're thinking too much about the Arts.  Hmm.

This guy is hopefully a household name in America.  Other members of his family have Wikipedia entries.  His uncle, for example, was a judge.  His son was an attorney.

I really hope this fellow has a Wiki entry, too!

Did he need other people or animals to do what he did?

Nope.  He worked on his own.

And yes, he does have a Wiki entry.

He's got 3 names (as in, forename, middle-name, surname) and is known by this full name, rather than just his first name and surname.

A clue as to the place he was born: Indian curry dish in a Bulgarian sea.

So he didn’t need any props at all, he only used his own body and voice?

Not his voice, no.  He used one part of his body specifically.

But don't think too much about that aspect.  He was famous in a certain field and specifically in regard to one specific thing in that field.

His father was a judge and lawyer by the way and his great grandparents (on his father's side) were English.

Although I guess he probably did use a form of prop but he was not an entertainer.  He did this privately.

I'll make it easier: he used his hands
