If there's any composer that should be on this site it's Pierre Henry for electronic prog, because he put out some boss synth rock albums and lots of electronic musique concrète

Kind of depends on how you define prog.  I think he's Country and Western.  I don't know which country and I'm not certain where west really is.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

"Synth rock albums" by Pierre Henry??? Confused Except from two (2) tracks from Messe pour le temps présent, I hardly heard or read about his discography including "boss synth rock albums".
Musique concrète, of course, since he worked with Pierre Schaeffer, but synth rock...

I'm not entirely certain what was meant by "lol metheny".  Feel free to clarify Polo when you get back on.

I found the collaboration with the Meth man pretty cool.  And then there was that whole crack train from New York, which they felt compelled to explain in the liner notes as not being about crack cocaine.LOL
