You have a good point, but a cat would never f**k with a rodent as large as a human!
That idea has been scrapped anyway, apparently I'm now drafting Symph X to run. NJ needs some representation besides that god awful PoS TV show |

Well there was that time when my white lab cornered a 'possum out in the backyard... Whatever, ya end up cleaning it up.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Not sure how much I'm legally allowed to quote, so we'll have to consider this a review:
They say animals don't worry, they're living on nuts and berries, They ought to be more careful, they're setting a bad example, sh*t on the ground...etc. I have always loved that song.

Oh gyspy biscuits! I guess I can't be surprised, coming from the guy who said we are not entitled to a right of privacy, even in the bedroom. |

Would you allow for individual states to pass such measures? |

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I personally would not. I think that's one of those decisions that should be left up to individuals to decide. |

I mean I wouldn't agree with it, but if the State's constitution allows for it I wouldn't do anything as a federal politician besides speaking about the immorality of such a ban. I haven't read many State's constitutions, but I find it hard to believe that it would really be cool with them in most states. |

I've looked into his views on the environment. I chose to try to quote what he's most willing to be pinned down on. Whether simplified or not, this is what he's advertising to the world as his position. Other quotes I've seen from him are actually more worrisome for folks like me. This isn't the only place I'm having this conversation. Lots of not-really-disenfranchised American citizens are being attracted to this guy out of a desire for a true departure from business as usual. It's actually by spending the time to dig that some are finding that he's not what (we'd) hoped. I have nothing against the idea of free market environmentalism, though I have little faith that anything approaching a free market will ever exist on a large scale. I have everything for fixing problems bottom up.

What do you specifically not like about his policy? |

Well besides not recognizing Tosin as a demigod... I'm very skeptical that personal properties rights and tort protections of the same are sufficient to maintain the integrity of the ecosystem that yes is very pretty and all that but more selfishly keeps us humans alive. For one it's too slow, and the idea is that "stewardship" is actually increased when you're taking care of your own personal property. I don't buy that. The cause and effect are just too far separated. Edited by Negoba - January 05 2012 at 21:25 |
