thanks a lot. the two women I named first are also often called "the best female bridge players ever", but the hint with the famous partner gave ir away, of course. some old players still play the bidding system of Goren, by the way, but on world class level no-one does., and many pairs have systems of their own (just like Friede and I). we have a little fame of our own, by the way; there is a bidding convention named after us (Tolleson transfers). but to our knowledge only two or three other pairs in the world use it ok, a new one. male, dead
