it's not something I can easily notice myself, but when your entire library is on your iPod, and you shuffle around, you notice a dip in the sound levels and the overall quality. I prefer everything be around the same level.

I've bought a lot more digital downloads this year then previous years, but I still like buying my pieces of plastic too.  It'll bankrupt me one of these days.

I just don't like physical media.
I don't have room, and I end up ripping my cd's onto my computer/iPod/phone anyway and
I never touch the cd again.

I have to disagree, i think Cornell's voice has been preserved very well. Atleast, compared to other singers.
His new Songbook Acoustic Album is flippin' amazing.

Got it for my Dad for Christmas. He's been blastin' it since.

I've ripped almost all of my CDs onto my computer and have gotten generally used to listening to it either on the computer or iPod.  One of these days I might enter the world of Clouds, but it really doesn't seem worthwhile for me at this point, so I just rip it to my home hard drive and back it up on a second hard drive that I use at work.  I still like to have physical CDs and do listen to them in the car or when I am at home, but I do find myself doing so a lot less than I used to.

Yeah, what's the obsession with a piece of plastic?

sound quality.

Another candidate for a double-blind listening test!

Plus, you can download FLAC from bandcamp.

His voice certainly isn't bad, but he just can't hit the notes he used to, which is to be expected after 20+ years.  I could definitely hear it in the performance.

I'll have to check out his album.

Is it new songs or old songs done acoustically?

You'd better watch out, or you might find your hair blown off like Devy's.

Everything is fine enough, how ya been?
Thanks for asking, yeah it's all good. Well nothing has been sorted out...but I've not been arrested for alleged theft so I take that as goodLOL
Honestly, what got me most is the total lack of explanation I was given, and a chance for myself to do so. I woulda gladly allowed them access to see my bank account and all my transactions, they woulda noticed no large sums of $LOLCry

really dude, I was a scapegoat. I still dont know fully what happened, but whatever did happen they couldn't figure it out (or didnt want to) and as a Temp I can be thrown under the bus, erm let go, easily without question.
Moving on though, looking for a real career job. Just sucks 2 years of work I can't use as a reference now.
