Dude crashed into it while I was grocery shopping. Got insurance money for it. Used it to go to Spain over the summer and to pay my bills while I'm unemployed.

Also, I got the Alien Blu-ray box set.
Alien holds up extremely well.

Me Gusta is a rage comic face that is typically used to respond to an awkward or disgusting event with “Me Gusta,” which means “it pleases me” in Spanish (often understood as “I like it” in English). It was originally only used in sexually perverse contexts, but has broadened over time to include a more general disturbing enjoyment. (See also Sweet Jesus Face)

Alien is a good film. Ridley Scott is the man and I'm excited for Prometheus.

Aliens had too many annoying characters in it. Alien only had a few.

Hmm, sorry to hear about the bike. The other part sounded good, tho. Ripley is a good name.

Not exactly.  Aliens is a subversion of the 80's action genre.  It leads you to believe it will be a standard action movie because it gives you the impression that these badass, high-tech, ra-ra-USAist marines will mop the floor with the Commie scum xenomorphs.  See, in a proper 80's action movie, the marines would have wiped out the xenomorphs and killed Burke without taking a scratch, because that's what Reagan would have wanted.

But they get wiped out, and it takes the determination and selfless empathy of a single mother, with the help of a swishy android to stop them.

This is why Aliens can be placed up there with Alien in my opinion.
from the gaf thread.
