I'd say it's more Sky Moves Sideways and Signify with a bit of Up the Downstairs. I don't hear much of the late 90's stuff, though.
UtD and SMS are more psych and electronic sounding, something i don't get from GfD.
I get a Lightbulb Sun effect from GfD with the dreary lyrics and depressive delivery, with alt. rock leanings. Seen on Index, Deform to Form a Star, and Pastcard.

Really, guys, aren't we beating on a dead horse porcupine here?
I see what you did there.

Atleast we agree on Signify!
I'm reffering to the compositional style, not the musical style, I should have been more specific on that matter, sorry. Even so, in Deform to Form a Star I listen to a lot of musical influences (even) from SMS! I do agree that the album has some of that pop aproach he puts out on lighbulb sun, though.

Hey guys! Sorry! I'm totally still waiting to receive the record back from mastering, which was being done in Seattle. The engineer told me there was some sort of wind storm that knocked out power so he couldn't finish it on time. Seriously! Yeah, I dunno, don't ask me! Bummed, I really wanted this to be a '11 release for various reasons, but now I guess it'll be a 2012 release. So, it'll be the first kick-ass release of 2012, how about that?
Weeehooo

Being bald is definitely more badass than not being bald. Do you feel older and more rugged?
I feel not as hot as I used to be regarding body heat, which is always a plus in Brazil.
