I've gotten in a good routine lately. I go for a walk each night, about 3 miles, and on the headphones I always listen to an album by the avant-sludge band Harvey Milk. I love those guys. I hope they do another album soon.

Tonight, it was the album called (rather sarcastically) "Singles".

I bought this for my dad for Christmas, since he introduced me to Pat Metheny. Of course, I downloaded the CD onto my computer as well! Big smile

Not sure why, but I suddenly decided I wanted to listen to this for the first time while I was trying to fall asleep. I typically despise neo-prog but I'm enjoying this somehow.

CHARTS AND MAPS - "Dead Horse"

Learned about this a couple of weeks ago on the "Free Post-Rock/Math Rock Albums" thread.  This is top-shelf stuff.   A lot "groovier" than you'd expect from these most straight-faced of genres.
