Yes he was.  He was Libby Kennedy's brother.  Jesse Spencer is his name.

Oh and the guy in The Matrix was also in Neighbours.

Hugh Laurie is also extremely funny when he is not House (he is actually a comedic actor and a skit artist) but i also recognize some sardonic humor come through his House character
