Topic: Fourm Groupie to Fourm Newbie Posted: December 20 2011 at 15:39 |
Today I found that I went from a Form Groupie with over 50 posts to a Form Newbie with 10 posts. Also, I have lately posted many Rush vs Genesis vs Yes Polls putting different albums by these artists against each other. The vast number of these polls have anoied people and this demotion may be a punishment from an admin, but it may just be a bug. Which one is it?

Okay, I'll edit the thread title to avoid confusing people.

Frum?
Its a version of form 'Snakes and Ladders' if you post over a certain number of polls in your first 100 posts you automatically have posts deducted and you are demoted.

"From" sounds better - "From Groupie to Newbie" - I think it's a snappier title.
You'd definitely get more people read it if that was the title - it's more self-explanatory. What do you think? Should I change it to "Forum Groupie to Forum Newbie" or "From Groupie to Newbie" ? Because, and let's be honest here, "Fourm Groupie to Fourm Newbie" looks very wrong now.

I never understood this "groupie" title.
What do we call those females dragging PA members down between the bedsheets because the male is a member of PA ? That title has to be "Forum Groupie", is it not ? So calling PA members with x forum posts for "Forum Groupies" just utterly, madly confuses the matter. I suggest a new ranks titles and to let the females that only goes for PA members as bedsheets companions keep the titles "Forum Groupies" like we did in the 1960s/1970s and the newbies here get a new title which does not create all sorts of possible confusions between the bedsheets.

I think we call those females Wishful Thinking, In Your Wildest Dreams and Not A Hope In Hell.

I think you are a very amusing man. I also think that somehow his post count has reset to zero. It has happened before it eve happened to me. I am absolutely sure that no one at Admin would reset it on purpose without explanation. They don't behave like that.

Good question - there's been so many, and do we count your question as another?
...or shall we recap the questions so far?
