I've been listening to Mathias Eick almost every day and I recommend him if you are interested in really sensual and icy sounding jazz trumpet. He plays with Jaga Jazzist.

But it's pronounced more like Matchick in that case, of course.

well i like icy trumpet, almost as much as i like icy oboe, and if played in a new-agy way it can make wonders or ambient silent trumpet coverd with layers of synth and strings oooooohm, gives me goose bumps

like most of Avalon by Roxy Music gives me, it is the most purple/blue albums i have heard with shreds of green

Odd and Even is two norwegian names that i think is funny when aplied to english, hell even Wiki finds it funny

Odd, a name of Old Norse origin (Oddr), the 11th most common male name in Norway. It is rarely used in other countries, though sometimes appearing in other Nordic countries. In old Norse the word means sharp end of an arrow or edge of blade.

Oddur is an Icelandic and Faroese form of the name.
