^ you must not have read the info since it took 25 plus years to finish and had to be finished by an Egyptian company
In a 2006 article, ABC News questioned whether North Korea had sufficient raw materials or energy for such a massive project.[11] A North Korean government official told the Los Angeles Times in 2008 that construction was not completed "because [North Korea] ran out of money Edited by timothy leary - December 10 2011 at 11:19 |

^Yes I read it. But the building IS being finished, in a nation where everybody is starving, after a deal between government and this evyptian company. Behold the wonders of a true egalitarian society.

okay then at least admit is not being finished by the North koreans. As for amazing the article says different.
Even though the Ryugyong dominates the Pyongyang skyline, official information regarding the hotel and its status have proven difficult to obtain. Though mocked-up images of the completed hotel had once appeared on North Korean stamps, the North Korean government denied the building's existence for many years. The government manipulated official photographs in order to remove the structure, and excluded it from printed maps of Pyongyang.[11][3][4] The alleged problems associated with the hotel led some media sources to dub it "The Worst Building in the World",[17][13] "Hotel of Doom" and "Phantom Hotel Edited by timothy leary - December 10 2011 at 11:28 |

Ya, beeing a dane im not proud of it, but our massive reserve are not send there, even though its only 100 km.
Norway have had a massive protective tax on butter, keeping danish butter out of the marked. Now that they lowered the tax, our butter exporters have decided not to sell, they dont want to fight a tax wall, and then help out when the tax is suddently lowered, due to no butter.
Im not saying its fair, but that how things are. Other countries in the region are also low on butter, due to the wet summer. But we ship to everyone but norway.

Luckily I moved from Norway before they ran out of butter. And the Norwegian oil is no good for cooking.

Or maybe it was the story of a little guy who overcame things to become the hero. Of course our academics can never come up with a positive spin. Must create a victim. |

We need to raise our kids to have thicker skin instead of pumping their self-esteem from kindergarten on.

Me too has also left the embrace of long legged blondes and traded them in with quirky, garlic munching fork throwing European girls. But I have heard about this. No butter in Norway at all. Twitter is used to trace down butter now and not all tweets are honest. Some of them has been gross misleading and ques of butter chasing Norwegians has been spotted in strange places. USSR like consumer experiences, but with tweets and smartphones this time. It is a bit funny, but those in Norway does not see the funny side of it.

"Construction began in 1987 with planned completion in 1989. However, after several delays, construction was eventually halted in 1992" Apparently it's not dead yet: Kind of reminds me of this : http://politicalirony.com/2008/07/20/the-great-photoshop-war-of-2008/ Edited by Slartibartfast - December 12 2011 at 06:48 |

I’ve never seen the Christmas tree as an important Christian symbol, though it’s true that you find the roots () of this tradition in the celebration of the birth of Christ. I notice a cross at the top, but "psychological warfare"??? |
