i cannot believe that Riverside were up. Opeth!!! Though they stand no chance against PT, they will slay the mighty Riverside beast and look on boldly across the horizon, dimly aware of there imminent death.

No - I voted for Riverside, not against Opeth.

Opeth are a really good band but, on balance, I just prefer Riverside.

Now Marillion have gone, I'm with Riverside all the way.

It is. And it came as a shock to me as well. Do the math if you don't believe me.

Riverside: 521,00 avg
Opeth: 472,40 avg

That must be the effect of the 1star-boohoo-I-don't-like-growls reviews.

Opeth for me, though Riverside is the better live band in my experience.

I think most of us agree that Riverside and Opeth are GREAT bands- both have quality stuff- but Opeth had MUCH MORE quality music.

I was this close to vote for Riverside just to increase the chance of getting a hot dog, but Opeth it is. Can't really stand neither of them, but I can't stand Opeth less.

The 1-star boohoo ratings should boost Opeth's chances of getting the advantage... that's a very odd stat.
