So, Christmas is coming up and I'm interested in hearing what my fellow PA members are hoping to find in their stockings this year?

For me, I've been a little low on cash recently so I've had to wait patiently for most of this years new music. But if all goes to plan, I'll be spending Christmas day with the likes of Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Steven Wilson and maybe visiting Cleveland with Rush... on my tv. Big smile

P.S: My apologies if there's already a thread like this. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Yep. It's always been Father Christmas around these here parts, pardner!

Although in old Rupert annuals I see he is referred to as Santa there also. Which is strange....

Hmm, I think it's always been Santa Claus for me. Maybe I've been Americanised since birth? Too much tv. Haha.

Leprous - Bilateral (I only have it in my phone), Arena (the new one) and tons of classical, from Kabalevsky to Chausson to a complete Beethoven cycle by Chailly.

So then, what kind of music is Santana bringing you this year?  Now you've been Mexican-Americanized. LOL

By the way, using an s in Americanized means there's still hope for you yet. Tongue

I don't know about Santa, but I've bought myself some John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Eric Dolphy and Jackie McLean.

+ Astrud Gilberto, Chet Baker, Gil Evans, Nina Simone, The Byrds, Sonic Youth, Gentle Giant, 16 Horsepower and Motörhead.

I dont think I asked for any music for Xmas, since I got a lot of new albums on my birthday last month, and over the course of 2011. I'm still catching up, and more CDs may overwhelm me.

I might be getting some new guitar stuff though.

Probably nothing. If he brings some money I'll buy something, don't yet know what.
