Hey guys. I am a fan of many genres of music, but I my favorites are by far progressive rock, progressive metal, and finally black metal. If you couldn't tell by my username, my favorite band is Voivod, closely backed by HArmonium, Hawkwind, and Burzum. I could go into detail about everything I like but those are basically my favorites.

I have a band over here in Montreal. While we are still in the jamming, fetal stage we are leaning towards a form of extreme space metal. I play synths and keyboards and do guttural vocals, along with some improv saxophone and we have a clean vocalist, a guitarist, and a bassist. We are in desperate need of a drummer, however it seems that all the good drummers have no interest in underground music.

Anyways, I am excited about this website.

Mike Portnoy lost my respect when he joined a specific band recently, and I honestly never really liked much other than Images and Words by 'Theater. Thanks for the lol though!

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

The couple Avenged Sevenfold albums I heard were decent enough.  I've not heard Adrenaline Mob yet.  I was kind of geeked about it when I first heard about it but I've not seen anybody say anything good about it.  Which probably still translates into something I might like since I seem to like everything else that everybody hates around here. LOL
