Because I said so.  That's why. 

Because I believe in opportunity for all to have a decent life over a few having everything and the rest struggling to survive.  Because for every dollar that a CEO makes, that's one less dollar the company has to pay the real workers in the company and to fight against wage increases or to attempt to depress wages (and use the "market" as an excuse), send jobs overseas or whatever in order to fatten your own wallet (when you already make more than you're worth) is theft.  It may be legal theft, but it's still theft.   And because no one is worth 185 times, 475 times, 525 times, whatever the person who scrubs the toilets.

I have no problem with his nitpicking of ideas or his argumentation.  As one of the few liberals who actually bother to post in these threads anymore, it's refreshing to see a non-libertarian/non-conservative viewpoint.  Would be great to see more Slartis join in.
