Yep, it's happened to me.  Usually I assume it was some sort of noise (house making a noise, loud vehicle, something like that) and get back to sleep within a fairly reasonable amount of time.

Well I've been having small variations on the same incident all week and I've got no idea, but it got hardcore last night.
